PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course is the next step in the PADI system of certification after the Open Water Diver Course. This two day certification allows you to dive to expand your knowledge in various specialty diving areas.  With Jr Divers, age 15 and below, special rules apply.   The two required adventures are the Deep Adventure, which allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters, and the Navigation Adventure, which teaches you more about the critical and challenging skill of navigation.  Additionally you will complete three further Adventure Dives, such as Photography, Enriched Air Nitrox, Naturalist, Night Diver, Wreck Diver, to name just a few.  These additional Adventures give you the opportunity to expand your diving knowledge and experience.   With these Adventures completed you will feel more confidence and safely in different types of diving environments. 

During this course, you will be taught by one of our experienced PADI Instructors.  By completing your 5 Adventures in Open Water, you will improve your diving skills at some of our beautiful dive sites located around the 3 Gili Islands of Trawangan, Meno, and Air.  Not to mention what a great two days it is as you basically complete 5 fun, new Adventure Dives.  No pool or videos required for this program, it is all about challenging yourself by diving in new environments.  

Schedule: 

Day 1   8 am Perfect Buoyancy Dive (optional) 

               2 pm Waves, Tides, Currents Dive (optional) 

Day 2   8 am Deep Adventure  Dive & theory review

                2 pm  Navigation Adventure Dive

                6 pm Night Adventure Dive

With a maximum group size of 4 students, you will be taught all you need to know by one of our Instructors, in pristine clear water with onlookers such as Turtles, Reef Sharks, various Rays, and an abundance of fish of many varieties.  Part of the excitement of exploring new environments is encountering new animals species only found in those unique environments.  We would highly recommend the Night Adventure as a chance to see nocturnal creatures such as Cuttlefish and Octopus active as they tend to be out feeding in the evenings.  The environment around the Gilis is the perfect one for taking your next steps in your diving experience!!
