SSI Advanced Adventurer

The SSI Advanced Adventurer Course is the next step in the SSI system of certification after the Open Water Diver Course. This certification allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters, teaches you more regarding the critical skills of Navigation, and gives you the opportunity to expand your diving knowledge and experience with 3 further Adventure Dives, such as Waves, Tides and Currents, Perfect Buoyancy or Night Dive.

After completing these dives at some of our beautiful dive sites located around the 3 Gili Islands of Trawangan, Meno, and Air, and having a total of 9 logged dives, you will become an Advanced Adventure Diver.  This course will make you a more confident diver as you were able to explore new 5 environments and learn new skills with the guidance of your SSI Instructor to prepare you to dive these areas independently.  

Junior Divers ages 12 - 14 are also able to take part in the program with a maximum depth of 21 meters allowed.  This course is the next step to keep the whole family diving!  

Example Schedule:   

Day 1   8 am 2 Adventure Dives

Day 2   8 am2 Adventure Dives 

                6 pm Night Adventure Dive

With a maximum group size of 4 students to an instructor, you will be taught in pristine clear water with onlookers such as Turtles, Reef Sharks, various Rays, and an abundance of fish of many varieties. The environment around the Gilis is perfect for taking the next steps in your diving experience!
