Flying

This is the option for those of you wanting to make your journey and holiday as stress-free as possible.  Access to Lombok by flying is getting easier all the time. There are now several daily departures with different airlines serving the route from Denpasar Airport in Bali to the new International airport just south of Praya in Lombok.  

From Bali / Denpasar Airport

The flight time from Bali is just 25 minutes, with a check-in time of 1 hour before the flight is due to depart, this is a very quick and convenient method of getting to Lombok.   If you want to travel directly from Bali to Lombok without an overnight stay, this might be the easiest option for you.  

Flights  are rarely fully booked, but booking is still advisable.

Boat to Gili Air

From the new airport, you can take a taxi to Bangsal Harbor, which takes approximately 2 hours, where you can take the public ferry to Gili Air (30  minutes). Alternatively, you could take the speedboat which is a little more expensive but also far more convenient as there can be long waits for the public boat.

If you would like an easier journey,  we offer airport transfers from Lombok / Materam Airport, which are a little more expensive, but will get you from baggage pick up to the steps of our shop in around 2 hours!   Once you arrive in Lombok you will be collected from the Airport and brought by private car to the West Coast of Lombok where your boat transfer will be waiting for you and will deliver you to the steps of our dive shop as efficiently as possible.  Here we will check you into our relaxing bungalows or guide you to your accommodation. Total journey time from the airport is about 2 hours.  Please note,  this service is for  Manta Dive Resort as well as diving guests only and is available from Lombok only, not from Bali airport.  

Remember when planning your departures, if you are scuba diving, you must wait 24 hours after your last dive, before going on an airplane.
