PADI Open Water Diver Course

PADI Open Water Diver Course squidThe PADI Open Water Course is the first stage in the PADI system of certification which allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters with another Certified Diver.  This is a three-day program designed introduce diving to a non-diver and certify them as diver upon completion.  This is the first step for many divers on their journey in the sport of recreational diving.  

During this course you will be taught all the essentials of dive theory by one of our certified PADI Instructors and plenty of time for basic skill mastery will be allowed in our spacious pool in order to master the essential skills for open water.  

You are then able to put these skills and knowledge into practice in the Open Water at some of our beautiful dive sites located around the 3 Gili Islands of Trawangan, Meno, and Air.  Each of our variety of diving locations has an amazing abundance of fish and creatures, and every day the reef has new wonders for you to discover.  With a maximum group size of 4 students, you will be taught all you need to know by one of our Instructors in a comfortable and enjoyable island environment.  

Schedule: 

Day 1  9 am for pool session & theory review

               2 pm  Open Water dive 1 to 12 m dive

Day 2  8 am pool session 2 & more theory review and exam

              2 pm Open Water dive 2

Day 3   8 am Open Water dive 3 & 4  & complete an exam

In pristine clear water with onlookers such as Green and Hawksbill Turtles, Octopus, Nemo (clown anemonefish), Blue Spotted Sting Rays, and an abundance of different fish and creatures.
